My G case ordeal is over with this guy. I finally got a refund. Stay away from this seller if you can.  It's not that he sells bad products or doesn't deliver on his/her goods it's the lack of communication. I know that Mattel is back ordered on the upcoming cases but all I was asking was some feedback from this seller. Things like "any updates?" or "have you heard of a release date?" but I got nothing. That shows me that you have no concern for the buyers worries. If someone gives you money for a product then you need to show them the respect of communication. So I will never deal with this guy again. It's sellers like this that give selling Hot Wheels on the second market a bad rep.  I'm not the only one that had issues with this seller. Oh and one last thing about this guy, after I left him feedback he (or had someone) with a different I.D. email me with a question of why I left him negative feedback. Nice try WINEO. But anyway I have been buying cases for years off of Ebay so if you would like to know the better sellers to buy from then just ask but in the meantime Keep on Hunting.

Worldwide G Case

My first worldwide G case showed up and all I can say is WOW !!!!! I say my first because after seeing it I had to order two more. The Lil Red Express truck was in it along with K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider. Very nice. Also included was two Custom 64 Galaxie 500's and they are hot. The tampo design really sets off the orange color. If you like the Ford Maverick then you will love the one from the 2012 Racing series.  I will be posting pics of these cars soon. I want to say thanks to Alex's Toy Chest for the fast delivery. Incredible Auction Redline Find

This was a surprise when I found this. I went to an auction and saw this box with some old Hot Wheels in it. A couple were Redlines (Alive 55 and Fire Eater) some Superfast Matchboxes, 1970's Tonka and so on. Too many to search through completely so I figured that I would go for it. Of corse I won. I took the box home and started going through it and man was I surprised. As I dug deeper I kept finding more treasures. More Redlines like a near mint Gun Slinger and Sidekick. And then this popped up. One of the Holy Grails of collectors. The rare tampo bug. It's not perfect but for being played with it is in very good shape. To the naked eye it looks great but when you add a camera flash to it you see the chips in more detail. Anyway I myself have always wanted to see this up close and personal and now I have one. This is better than finding a Super Treasure Hunt. Made my day. Oh and by the way I'm not saying what I paid for the lot because I don't want people jumping off any bridges. Walmart

Rumor has it that some if not all Walmarts are lowering the Hot Wheels basic cars back down to .97 !!! I know it doesn't sound like much but hey, every penny counts. Especially when your hunting. A lot of people don't realize that Hot Wheels is one of the few toys that has had a very minimal increase in price since it's introduction. That's over 40 years people. I don't know how they can do it but hats off to Mattel. So get out to those Wally's and buy up those shelf warmers so they will restock with some new releases. Until then, Keep on Hunting.

Can of worms

Man did I ever open up a can of worms last night on the hotwheelscollectors.com site last night. If you've never been there I highly recommend that you go and at least sign up for the free membership. There is a paid membership if you please. It comes with a free limited membership car and they are almost sold out. Anywho, I went on the discussion board and asked if anyone knew if the ebay seller wineo1983 is the same person that is a member of the collectors site. The first person to reply asked why and when I told him man shit hit the fan. People saying that I was out of line for trying to call him out in public and that it was a personal issue that should have been kept between me and him. OBVIOUSLY the people that were replying were friends of his trying to protect him. Some people were trying to tell me that he was out of town and and that's probably why he wasn't responding and that I should be patient. It's been two weeks of trying to get this guy to answer me. There was ONE person that kind of stood up for me by stating that in this day and age the guy should have some sort of access to his ebay account that he should be able to reply to me. That guy is completely right.  That was fun. Hotwheelscollectors.com is a cool site by keeping you informed of upcoming events and the new lines of Hot Wheels that are hitting the stores plus they have exclusive (and limited) cars that you can purchase. But some of the members on there are so tightly wrapped that it takes but a little spark to set them off. And a lot of them HATE people that resell Hot Wheels. They call them scalpers. I will agree that there are some assholes out there that will do anything to get a Treasure Hunt but for guys like me that need to make a living, they give us true sellers a bad name. Speaking of the G case

I can't figure this out. I ordered the G case from wineo1983on Ebay and was told that they should arrive by the 10th and then they would be shipped to me. I still have yet to see the case but I went and looked at the items that he has for sale and come to find out he is selling single cars from the G case! If the cases haven't arrived then how is he have these cars in his possession. I have emailed him twice but no replies yet. Very frustrating needless to say but this raises ones eyebrow to question if some of these people that sell these cases wait to ship them out so they can get top dollar for the more popular cars and then once the hype dies down then they ship the cases. It would make sense because they would have less people to compete top dollar for giving them the advantage. Also how come they always manage to get the Supers? I've been told that there is no way to know which case number that the Supers are in but I'm not so sure. But back to wineo1983, I know he is a member hotwheelscollectors.com so I might go on there and post publicly that he needs to take care of his Ebay customers by answering their emails. Yeah I don't like being crossed especially when I give you my hard earned dollar. In the meantime I hope the cases show up soon and Keep on Hunting !!!

Third K-day case

Well the third case showed up today and it was the correct one. No supers. I have yet to find a super since they started inserting them a few years ago. I'll keep on trying because I love the hunt. I can't wait until the G case is released. The Lil Red Express truck is going to be my "gotta get" this year. My dad worked for a Dodge dealership and I still remember when he brought that truck home. Love at first site. In my opinion that is the best production truck ever. Even better than the Warlock. I wonder if Mattel is going to end up producing that one. I will soon be posting pics of new releases so until then, Keep on Hunting.

Mattel 02/12 Kdays

I didn't get to attend this months Kdays so I ordered 3 cases online. I have done this in the past and never had a problem. This time I decided to order just after midnight just to be sure that I would not get in too late. Thinking that since I did it so early that my cases would be some of the first shipped. WRONG !!! I just got my first two cases yesterday and I'm still waiting for the third one. No big deal I guess but I opened the first case and wasn't really that impressed. I got the Tyrrell P34 Treasure Hunt. I agree with a lot of other collectors and say that this is probably the worse Treasure Hunt ever. I do like the pinkish Barracuda but the rest are so-so. So I opened the second case and to my surprise it was filled with the cars from the November event. How is this possible when the SUPPOSEDLY sold out but yet I got a case this week. Needless to say that case will be returned. The third case is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow so when I get that case I will report on that one. So until then keep on hunting.

Hot Wheels G case

Has anyone that pre-ordered the G case received theirs yet? I have ordered two from different buyers and have yet to see them. What doesn't make any sense is that they are SUPPOSEDLY not in yet but when you look on ebay you will see cars from that case listed. For people like me that depend on selling on ebay really kills my profit margin because by the time I get my cases and get the highly demanded cars listed people have started to grow tired an the demand drops. The K.I.T.T. car is selling anywhere from 11 dollars to 24 dollars. So how are these sellers getting these cars before the cases are available? Please comment if you know the answer because I sure would like to get in on that.
