Bad Ebayers

Hello and welcome to the bad buyers and sellers of Ebay club. Click on the BAD LIST link to the right to view the list. I have started this for two reasons. One is that it was looking cluttered on my Ebay listings and two (the main reason) I am sick and tired of the buyers having most of the control on Ebay. It's the sellers that pay Ebay's bills and yet it's the buyer that can benefit from the rules on ebay. Most of the buyers are legit and have proper Ebay etiquette but it's the ones that try and mess with the sellers to get an advantage over us that gets my blood to boil and sometimes makes me want to quit. We as sellers work hard to keep up a good image and try to have 100% feedback. Ebay took our rights away to leave negative feedback for a bad buyer and that just opened up the floodgates for some buyers to threaten us with negative feedback if we didn't give them what they wanted. I personally have had a couple of buyers demand free shipping after an auction has ended and I have heard these type of stories from other sellers as well. Now to top it off Ebay has offered buyer protection to the buyers. I just got screwed by this new policy. Don't get me wrong, I know where they were going with this new rule but they are not enforcing it like PayPal does or did. I had a buyer open a case because he never received his purchase. He told Ebay that I never replied to his emails which he never sent to me. After he opened the case I tried many times to email this guy and talk to him about the situation but he would not answer me. Ebay took the case and ended up refunding his entire purchase and "DIDN'T ASK ME FOR MY SIDE OF THE CASE" before they made a decision. So this new buyer protection policy ends up giving the buyer a full refund PLUS the possibility that the buyer gets the item for free. This new policy is Ebays way of getting the seller to pay for extras like insurance and tracking. Yes the seller can add that cost to their shipping cost but all that does is scare off a lot of buyers when they see a higher shipping fee. So in short this is why I started this blog. This is a place that a seller can come and warn other sellers about bad buyers. So BAD BUYERS/SELLERS BEWARE. If you don't want your I.D. to become public in a bad way then start being honest with your sellers/buyers.
